My client, a leading provider within the service and healthcare industry, are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic HR and Talent Manager who will partner the management team in maintaining the organisation as an employer of choice.

We are seeking an HR Manager who will become engaged with and accountable to the business, yet remains the eyes and ears of HR. A professional who can roll their sleeves up and is passionate about the business’s growth, understands the dynamics of a service business and the hospitality industry but has the potential to help shape both what the business does and what HR does.

Key duties include:

  • Attraction –lead, co-ordinate and support recruitment activities, building the talent pool and developing creative ways to market the company to prospective employees.
  • Motivation – supporting effective communication and working to ensure maximum career satisfaction.
  • Business Acumen - the ability of HR to view “business in the round” with a more holistic perspective. Through an acquired deep understanding of the business, you will develop the knowledge and skills required to take a broader business perspective, in particular the drivers of value and understand the role of people in the brand value and in the IP of the business.
  • Retention – With a people development focus and a hands-on approach to training, coaching, mentoring, developing, organising and delivering training, supporting succession planning for individuals and working with line managers to get the most out of their people.
  • Systems and Legal – ensuring efficient and effective transactional HR systems and legal compliance. Gets the HR admin done properly with a willingness to use technology and self-service to reduce admin time. Practical, commercial experience of employment law is an asset.
Požiadavky na zamestnanca
To be successful in this role you will ideally be CIPD qualified and have experience in a broad-based commercial HR management role and be able to demonstrate that you:
  • Have experience of managing an HR function at a senior level
  • Have a strong understanding of employment law and best practice
  • Have commercial experience
We will consider applicants for this role on a both a full-time and a part-time/flexible working basis.
Plat £30,000-£35,000
