International original pharmaceutical company is searching for a General Manager who will have full responsibility for the Slovak operation (team management and business development). He/ she is expected to work independently, follow trends, bring new and modern ideas. The potential candidate should be an operational, hands on type, be able to function without a big administrative infrastructure.

Main responsibilities:

• Business development with the focus on all market segments (medical, pharmacies and mass market)
• Team management (sales team coaching, motivation, training) and operational agenda
• Focus on a public health mission on the local market
• Proactive approach. Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, with focus on team work, business development and customer satisfaction

• Minimum 10- 15 years of commercial experience ideally in the OTC sector (sales and marketing background in pharmaceutical sector is a must). He/she has preferably worked his/her way up from a medical representative position to a managerial role in marketing or sales and finally manages a separate business unit.
• University degree in medicine, pharma or business field
• Understanding of medical and mass market sales
• Strong people skills and team management experience is a must
• Experience with setting up PR/ marketing strategies and its execution
• Good overview of international markets and trends in the health field
• Able to work in multi-cultural environment, with focus on team work, business development and customer satisfaction
• Adequate understanding of financial aspects and bookkeeping

• Self driven, team leader, communicative, diplomatic, able to sustain pressure
• Fluent Slovak or Czech and French; English is of advantage
