GENERAL SUMMARY

This position, within Global Audit Transformation organization will function as a Manager for the Bratislava Project team. The role will focus on global reporting project initiatives across Finance and LE/PUB sales.

 

PROJECT ENGAGEMENT

  • Define Business Requirements for Finance and LE/PUB Sales
  • Data and Reporting Requirements
  • Controls, Security, Standard Metrics and Hierarchies
  • Upstream/downstream impact
  • Project Coordination with Business and IT to deliver
  • Test Lead - Coordination of testing activities/driving defect resolution
  • Define support strategy and transition to support teams
  • Communication and Training lead for Business/End users

 

PROJECT GOVERNANCE

  • Perform controls assessment at each phase of the project lifecycle
  • Global standard metrics and hierarchies
  • Appropriate security model
  • Review Test strategy and ensure completion of testing
  • Support strategy defined and put in place

 

Požiadavky na zamestnanca
  • The candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, control focused, ability to build relationships across global organizations, promote, influence, advise, explain, train and coordinate across business and IT teams and management.
  • The role will include determining and encouraging best practice reporting and ensuring "one-number" report consistency across segments and regions.
  • This person should be familiar with project management techniques, e.g. MSF/CMM or equivalent, have a fundamental knowledge of data warehousing, web reporting technology (Dot Net), accounting principles and practices, and a good understanding of Dell's systems and processes.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities: Detailed knowledge and understanding of Dell's business required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent with seven years of experience is preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered.
  • RDBMS experience, SQL, and an understanding of enterprise-wide information systems is desired.
  • Product Management experiences a plus.
