Our client, an international transportation and logistics company, is searching for an experienced manager who will take care of the company key clients. He / she will develop new and maintain existing business contacts with the company regional clients on the national level. His/her main role will be to evaluate the Slovak market regarding potential customers and opportunities within transportation and logistics. Active selling is combined with collaborative selling (assistance to the existing sales team). This is a newly created, senior sales position, national counterpart of the company global key account management team.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the market regarding potential targets and business opportunities with focus on integrated logistics solutions
  • Identify competition and their specific products, customer base
  • Qualify sales leads, identified business opportunities and distribute them among the national sales team
  • Close cooperation with the senior global Key Account Management team
  • Active (60% of the time) and Collaborative selling (20%) of the integrated solutions
  • Active Participation at Exhibition & Fairs within their verticals
  • Act as “go to” person for any Sales and Customer Service related issues to help to define improvement solutions for operational performance failures and missing operating procedures
  • Active company representation in various industry associations
Požiadavky na zamestnanca
  • Ideal candidate should have at least 10 years experience within the International Freight, Transportation and Logistics industry and out of that has focused on sales for more than 5 years.
  • University education
  • Self - disciplined and self- motivated person with a strong customer focus
  • Well presented, mature, able to sell on the highest corporate level
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Solid PC knowledge related to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sales Force Automation tools
