Our client, an expanding fashion retail network, is looking for a director responsible for development of the company´s sales concept and its implementation in the selected countries in the CEE region.

A successful candidate should be able to make strategic decisions concerning consistent expansion of the retail network, however, he / she must have hands on, proactive attitude to work and be ready to actively step into the process and closely cooperate with the team in the field. The Shops Director will be responsible for pricing strategy, employee training, motivational programs, coaching of Unit and Shop Managers and in general ensuring the top result and the budget fulfillment.

Further:

• Development of the existing sales concept and its implementing in the retail network
• Improvement and implementation of the quality standards
• Team coaching
• Involved in the budgeting process

Selection criteria:

• Minimum 10+ years of working experience out of that 3-5 years in retail, preferably in fashion/textile retail
• Secondary or higher education
• Relevant team management experience
• Open minded, communicative person with good team management and leadership skills
• Team player
• Hands on with “Can do attitude”
• Ready to question the existing systems and propose better solutions
• Ready to travel in the CEE region app. 50 % of his / her working time in order the highest quality standards of the retail network are ensured
• Proactive, with customer orientation
• Detail oriented (able to set up concepts but at the same time to check small details that may be crucial for the success)
• Able to work well in a multi-cultural team
• Able to think and act regionally – think bigger than just the local market, recognize trends
• Native Slovak, very good English
