For our client, a leading supplier to the automotive industry, we are looking for a strong profile quality customer engineer who will take full responsibility for dealing with customers concerning any quality issue. A must criteria for this role is a previous experience in dealing with customers and solving related quality issues (experience with internal process quality is therefore not enough). This isnt a managerial role however there is a high chance the right candidate will reach the manager level in a short time.

 

Our client´s team is very hands on, consisting of expats and Slovak experts and the company is currently in an expansion mode. It is the right time to join the company for somebody who would like to build a career in automotive sector, inside a leading, well recognised brand.


Responsibilities:

  • Successful interface with the customer’s suppliers quality engineers and others concerned with quality.  Must have experience and competency to work on a peer level with customer personnel.
  • Lead or ensure that customer reports and warranty analysis activities are performed on a timely basis, with proper firmness, and that resultant data and information is entered into relevant systems and communicated.
  • Ensure that quality deliverables are completed on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that, for start of production and ongoing production, any deviations from approved documentation are properly analyzed, controlled & approved.
  • Ensure that, for start of production and ongoing production, processes (internal and supplier) are properly audited according to customer and the group expectations.
  • Communicate to plant and customer team leaders all critical information, incidents and risks that concern their customer in the objective of achieving customer satisfaction with the group quality.

 

Požiadavky na zamestnanca

Requirements for the ideal candidate:

 

  • Experienced quality engineer (at least 3 years of experience, focus on customer quality or  overall quality management).
  • Familiar with automotive quality practices.
  • Competent to work in Slovak and English.
  • Project management to lead cross-functional teams in quality activities.
  • Six Sigma Green-belt (minimum) or Black-Belt (preferred).
  • Strong communicator, externally and internally.
  • Well organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel.
  • Assertive in representing customer internally and the group externally.
  • Willing and confident to make commitments.
  • Responsive and responsible to deliver on commitments.
  • Committed to helping the company to be seen as a quality leader in the customer’s eyes.
